Travia_Day_1
This is Travia Reed,this is Day 1 for the Egg Osmosis Lab. The mass of the egg was 57.709g. An uncooked egg was placed into a glass beaker filled with vinegar.The vinegar on the egg started to make bubbles all around the egg.I made a prediction that the shell will start to break. The Yolk will start to come out.

This is Day 2. The mass was 77.67 The shell dissolved in the vinegar over night. As the egg sat in the vingear over night, it increased because the water went into egg. The water went in as the vingear at over the egg. My prediction is that it was goin to bust and the water was going to come out.

This is day 3 of the lab. The mass of the egg was 42.69g. After that we placed the egg in corn syrup. My prediction is the yolk will come out over night....I think this willl happen because of less dense andmore out of the egg.

This is day 4 and final day. The mass is 85.59g. The water went out and the corn syrup went in and mad it hard.
We started off with 57.709 then ended up with 85.59g. The egg had abosored more water than it stared with.
